Window Opening Control Devices
A window Opening Control Device (WOCD) is a safety mechanism that limits a window’s opening to less than 4 inches to prevent falls while still allowing for emergency egress. All AMI factory-installed WOCDs meet the ASTM F2090-21 standard.
WOCDs are available on the following AMI product lines:

- 1900 Series New Construction Windows
